Sansa Express License Expired

Sep 27, 2007 4:38AM PDT

I just purchased a Sansa Express and purchased music from Wal-Mart to put on it. I can play the music in Windows Media Player 10, but when I sync to Sansa Express, they all say License Expired. All are WMA files. I am using Windows XP. Contacted Wal-Mart and upgraded my microsoft security and the info from their liquid.com all passes, but it seems the licenses don't sync. Am ready to throw it away or return it. Any ideas to help would be appreciated.

Error Message

Only error message received is from Windows Media Player if I choose restore licenses. It then will show this: Windows Media Player encountered an unknown error. This can occur when another program or operating system component encounters a problem but does not communicate the nature of the problem to the Player.

I don't get anything else except the License Expired when trying to play them on the Sansa Express. Walmart had me run the following from their page to show info:

Don't worry about it - I have tried a lot of things, so any more that you know and send my way will only help. I did also send the info to Marc on his website since it is the UNKNOWN ERROR. These things should just be easier to work with. Will try some more things and let you know. One thing I noticed when looking at Windows Media Player help is that they say the DRM file should be on your C Drive. I did back up the licenses so does that move them from the C drive because there is no DRM file anywhere on the C Drive.
