Sansa E280R - Can I remove Rhapsody from the player?

Oct 1, 2007 3:31AM PDT

Hi all,

So, I got the Sandisk Sansa E280R for my birthday. While I am still working on getting CDs ripped, organized & loaded, I want to get rid of the Rhapsody parts. Is there an easy way (I.E. Go to "x" file on the MP3 player, delete these files, etc.) to get rid of the Rhapsody songs & portion of this player?

I installed the Best Buy Rhapsody software, mainly because it's an all-in-one area to see what I have, and load it on the MP3 player - But I didn't sign up with Rhapsody.

I'd like that additional space freed up for some of MY stuff on there (crazy, I know!).

Any experience/advice?

I wasn't really looking for additional software, but I'll look at it - is it a music management program? How would it help in my situation?

Rockbox is a custom firmware making organization
SanDisk asked them, with money I'm sure, to add support to the e200s
I'm not sure exactly what you want to do, but Rockbox adds many new features and file support

The sansa e280r has to be in rhapsody mode...

then the rhapsody software should scan the device for content once you plug it in. Delete the rhapsody channels, playlists, and songs. Then go to My Computer to delete the pitures and video. Then if you want to use software other than Rhapsody put it into play for sure mode.
