Sansa e250 frozen

My Sansa e250 has locked up with the screen reading "Refresh Database." Resetting the devise doesn't work. Whe I turn it back on, I get the same message.

Anyone have an answer?

Hey, I feel your pain. The same thing is happening to my Sansa e260 for no apparent reason, and I have yet to get an answer from tech support.

Windows XP SP2
USB 2.0
Sansa Firmware e200fw01.00.12.exe previously applied

Unable to view the device from Windows (cannot format the device).
Unable to break out of "Refresh Database" mode after doing a soft reboot.

Sansa e260 locked/frozen

I gave my son a 4GB for Christmas and the 29th it locked up displaying the SanDisk logo...cannot turn off or scroll to any icon.
I will call Sandisk Tech Support 866-726-3475...AND they said to hold the on/off button for 30 seconds which will turn the unit off. Then you turn it on again and it should be OK. PHEW...WHAT A HASSLE!!
