Hey, I feel your pain. The same thing is happening to my Sansa e260 for no apparent reason, and I have yet to get an answer from tech support.
Windows XP SP2
USB 2.0
Sansa Firmware e200fw01.00.12.exe previously applied
Unable to view the device from Windows (cannot format the device).
Unable to break out of "Refresh Database" mode after doing a soft reboot.
My Sansa e250 has locked up with the screen reading "Refresh Database." Resetting the devise doesn't work. Whe I turn it back on, I get the same message.
Anyone have an answer?
