SanDisk Sansa Fuze 8 GB Video MP3

May 23, 2009 8:36AM PDT

I'm about to buy my first MP3 player. This one looks good for the money: MPEG, MP3, FM radio, rechargeable battery. Good price.

My question is about the battery. I see that it is not replaceable. What is the lifespan of the battery, in general terms--- not how long it stays charged, but how long it WILL recharge?

Thanks very much,
Sue in Ohio

With each feature comes a cost. Consumers want it for free or 99 bucks or 199 and so on. The studies about this are done.

It's a great value.

They allow for smaller, thinner, and lighter players. And my nearly 5 year old iPod that I paid $$$ for still holds a fairly long charge. Though nowadays, I've moved on to a newer model for everyday use.
