Sandisk Sansa e2XX and c1XX canadian release?

by Me234765 / April 11, 2006 6:22 AM PDT

I have been emailing several retailers here in Canada such as futureshop, bestbuy, tigerdirect and I cant get a clear answer. I have also been surfing the web, and I cannot find the answer to this. So does ANYBODY know when these players will be released in Canada, I have been DYING for these players.

I am thinking about leaning to the e2 becasue a 2gig version shouldnt be much more epensive than the 2gig c1XX which i planned to get. Anyone know about how long the battery lasts? Or which player they suggest for someone who doesnt want to replace their battery too often, not a huge music collection(1-2gig is plenty),preferably aa/aaa battery, not too pricey and great sound?

Battery issue
by Catcheronedge / April 11, 2006 6:53 AM PDT

I got the m250, because I didn't want to wait for the other lines, and it was cheaper (probably, the c100 may not be available here at all, the stores are concentrating on the e200 series).

Supposedly the e200 series has better sound quality.

But the e200 series is equipped with a rechargeable battery, not an AAA battery.

The review on Anythingbutipod makes it look attractive, if the goal is a 2 gig player. There aren't that many of them out there.

I've been thinking about it. If I were to choose between the e200 and the c100 series, I'd choose the 6 gig version if I wanted lots of storage. If I were to go for the 2 gig version, I'd go with the c100 every time. But that's just me.

Yeah, I think I would have to agree.
And I heard that alot of the e2XXs have been pulled from stores due to firmware errors, but I see the c1XX in ao lot of american sites like cc, or bestbuy. I was kinda dissapointed at Cnets review in the c100, it looks very promising.

As for now I think I will stick with the c100, I hope it isnt as ''cheap'' as alot of people and reviewers have stated.
