I know it can be a lot of trouble, but there's no better way to teach the company than when it costs them somthing.. So far, it has cost them nothing..
It would be nice to know exactly which "installation disc" you're referring to. Is it for the "Rhapsody"?
By "Downloading" do you mean that the installation disc requires the program to be connected to the internet so it can download DRM items?
What type of internet connection do you use?
And you've temporarily disabled ALL firewalls that are installed?
Hope this helps and let us know more.
I have a HP Media Center Pavilion. Windows XP. The instalation disk that Best Buy gives is not downloading. I get to 99% and get this message: The Digital Management Components are not downloading. This may be caused by other programs running, e.g. Firewall, Parental controls, Anti-Virus,etc. I tried everything that I was told by the help numbers I called. BB gave me Rhapsody's that I was on doing what he told me for about an hour (with an attitude) and when I told him the same error message came up there was dead silence for almost a minute so I hung up on him. Has anyone had this problem or know what I can do! I don't want to return the Player as I don't think it is at fault, but I don't know what to do to fix the situation. Thanks in advance.
