SamsungTV Product Registration - The S/N can't be recognized

Hi , I spent 2 hours on the phone with Samsung just trying to register a new TV. Model UN55MU650DF. I bought the TV from sam's club 3 weeks ago. The serial number I got is from the back of the TV panel not from the box. I know there is an extra letter at the end. At the product registration web site, http://www.samsung.com/us/support/register/ it keeps error it out and giving the "Possible reasons for the error include serial/IMEI number is not valid, product is older than 3 years, product was purchased outside the U.S.". I talked the TV support team, the guy told me the serial number is correct but they couldn't help because the error is a web site problem, not a TV problem. They transferred me to many other support teams, but none of them knew how to solve the problem.

The S/N is not recognized by the web site. Can someone from Samsung Web Support team solve this problem?

there should have been a registration card to mail for registering. If so, just fill it out and mail it in.
