The problem has been resolved, but thanks for anyone's help anyway
It's actually pretty strange, because I have been using this player for about a month without any problems. For some reason though, the other night when I plugged the player in to charge, my computer said "new hardware detected." My computer no longer displays this message though.. However, since then, my computer has not even detected that the player is plugged in, and Samsung Media Studio does not allow me to transfer songs to it (or even click the "Portable" button), nor does Windows Media Player 10/11 detect it. My player does says usb connected and is charging, so I don't think it's the player that's the problem (and since I have had it for a month, I know it can't be the initial charge that is the problem). I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Samsung Media Studio several times, and using different USB ports on my computer, but that did not change anything at all. I read somewhere that the drivers for this player are included in Samsung Media Studio, and I have reinstalled it over and over (from both the CD, and download from the samsung website) so I don't have the slightest clue what is wrong. I would really appreciate any help that anyone can offer. Thanks in advance
