Samsung YP-K3 Media question..

Oct 8, 2007 11:23PM PDT

I just bought a Samsung YP-K3 and am very satisfied with it. My problem is I want to buy both my kids the same mp3 player. I don't see how on the Samsung media how I will be able to keep the mp3 file separated. I don't want all their songs on my player and I know they don't want the best of the 70's theirs. I know I can create play-list, but wouldn't all the song still load on all 3 players? Will I have to just buy 3 different brands of MP3 players? Thanks for any help.

How it works on iTunes here.

Each user has their own (XP or Vista) account. Each account has it's own collection.

Works here but I do not own the Samsung to verify that it works same there.

Each account in XP or Vista has it's own collection. The user that needs to sync would log in...

but I did call Samsung and they told me it would load all the songs on all 3 players. They said that the media player would not be able to tell one player from the other. So whatever is on the 1st player would be download onto the other 2 once they were plugged in.

Then you didn't try the above?

I know many don't want to deal with XP Accounts and certainly who you called will not offer any help in that.
