Question

Samsung Xcover 550

May 1, 2016 2:23AM PDT

I recently bought a Samsung Xcover 550, and I'm having trouble with the music player. I've got a 16GB memory card in the phone, which is the maximum size allowed, but if I have what appears to be too many music files on it, some of them simply won't show up in the player, and the folders won't show up either. It seems that I can't exceed 8 GB of music, or something along those lines. These are all mp3 files, and if I access the folders, they're all there and play just fine. I experimented with transferring a file from a folder that wasn't showing up in the player, onto the phone's memory. Just one file, and suddenly the whole folder with all the music showed up on the player. This is a really good phone otherwise, but this just makes no sense to me. What the heck could be going on?
