Let's start with a simple question.

Do you have the Galaxy Tab (tablet) and is the Samsung app installed and did you get it onto your network as well as turn off the firewalls in the router? If not, lots of work to do.

You need to download the tv app from the android store to either to smart phone or tablet. You also must be connected to the same network your tv is connected to the same access point in order for the app to work. Hope this helps.
