Question

Samsung white dots model # HL-T6156w

Dec 7, 2012 7:09AM PST

It started with one or two white dots when the screen was dark then proceeded to be more and more each day. Finally about 36 dots. I called Samsung and was told that my model is not covered for defective part as the others are in the class action suit. How can that be? TV was barely 5 years old- I bought it on black friday 2007. This is the same time period that the defective chips were used in their products. It is a shame that a 61" TV turns into a dust collector especially when you think that you are buying top of the line. We spent over $2,000 for it. The TV we replaced when we bought this one was bought wa 12 years old and really just needed bulbs but we though we would upgrade. How sorry I am now. I will never buy another Samsung product since they don't stand behind the quality. How can they pick and choose who they decide is worthy of getting a free part or service? I am very disappointed in Samsung. Shame on Samsung!!!
