We own many Samsung products, 4 TVs, a fridge, dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer, phone. Our clothes washer has gone out a few times in the last five years and my husband has repaired it himself using Google. Anyway, the dishwasher we bought less than a year ago from Best Buy has shown a leaking code a couple of times, the last time being about 3 weeks ago. Samsung sent out a repair company local to Southern California to take care of it. They had 4 visits, the dishwasher is not repaired at this point. I call them back and they send out a different repair company, who came out in February also for the same issue. This tech states that the dishwasher is not repairable, and he will call Samsung and suggest they replace it. This was yesterday. My husband and I have been on several calls with Samsung in these past couple of days. First they state they have no record of the first repair company THEY sent out, and ask me for the ticket numbers(which are generated BY Samsung and given to the repair companies). I get the ticket numbers for them. Then they say ok, well, we didn't authorize the repairs by the first company and they damaged your appliance, it's your fault. Now they are saying they have to do an investigation on the washer. This is all one giant game, they have no honest intentions of honoring their warranty. I understand this now. They send out a service company with 1.5 stars on Yelp, who will break your appliance, and then call it your fault. It's incredibly frustrating to deal with them over the phone. My husband is software executive, ams I have two small children that require a lot of attention. We do not have time to spend hours on the phone playing mind **** games. Has anyone had any luck through any other venues? I just purchased a new LG washer/dryer set that is being delivered today, and I guess will be purchasing a new dishwasher as well, not Samsung of course. No Samsung products for me, ever. There are so many choices out there to put up with this stress.myhanks for reading.
