Samsung Verizon Galaxy S7 Edge - resetting - wiped - dead

Sep 23, 2017 7:05PM PDT

My Samsung Verizon Galaxy S7 Edge has reset 3 times in 30 days. It wipes out all data and returns to factory defaults. The last time it did this a few days ago, it completely quit working. Verizon refuses to do anything. ( they want $300 to send it back to fix it). Phone is under warranty. They claim they sent out an Android update and it has a bug that causes this. Phone is dead. Beware!!

How long have you had the phone ?? Has it been replaced previously ?? You might try to escalate this to the office of the president at Verizon. Have you tried to contact Samsung directly ??

Just an idea.

I had someone run into an odd "losing all my data" encounter and it turned out to be a bum SD CARD. Just weird.

Remove the SD card, do a factory reset and then go without a card for testing.
