From same model line?

Lets say you have a Samsung V30. For the most part if Samsung has other V30's they use the same keyboard for reasons I won't write about.

HOWEVER I READ THIS LAPTOP has a PS2 keyboard port. Try that if you need to get by while your keyboard is ordered.

So your laptop is not worth 45 to fix?

pshorley,

Unfortunately, I didn't see this thread until after the fireworks.

I'm not able to guarantee that another keyboard from another model is going to be a compatible part, either with connections or size of the keyboard tray.

I'm not sure what sparked a flame, so to avoid that, I would humbly recommend the actual laptop part.

It was my comment about 45 bucks.

Or what ever the currency was. I'm finding keyboards to be about 100 bucks. And worth every dime compared to a new laptop.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
