samsung UN65MU6290 DBO3 NO PICTURE

We have a samsung UN65MU6290 Version DBO3 with NO PICTURE, repair man said it is t-con board, but parts house said there is no such part in this TV??? What else could be problem, has faint grey light when switched on in the dark, but thats it?

Is rather long to tell but it's reached mythical proportions. No picture is rarely going to be that board even if yours had it. You can google more about what you see with TCON board failures but that's a waste of time here.

The other causes are more likely to be power or main board. Along with any other failures like LED shorts. These are on the web but here's a starter if you are trying to fix it yourself.

I guess that narrows it down then since these TVs don't have the LED strips like every other TV on Youtube has. I know... I just found out with my UN65MU6290. I finally dismantled the sucker, got through all the layers and... nothing.

This model is "Direct LED".
