Question

Samsung UN65F6300 65-Inch Restart loop

Aug 4, 2016 6:16PM PDT

Hi,

Our samsung tv will get into a restart loop if we touch certain buttons on the remote. I have tried Source, Menu, Tools to name a few, this has been an intermittent problem with the TV since we got it but now we are almost unable to get into sources and cannot get menu up at all.

Once we get to the source we want it is perfect no problems and can have it on all day with no issues unless we want to change the source.

I called Samsung but technical support had no answers for me. Hoping someone may be able to shed some light on it for me here.

Thanks

Jay

Since you can cause this on demand.

It's time to let Samsung service the TV. I have to ask the following. I have encountered a few folk that don't want service on the set, they just want it fixed over the phone. They often get very upset that not all issues can be fixed that way.

Keep track of how long the issue has been going on since some states let you extent the warranty during the time you lost use of a product.

There's also a "Service Issues post at the top of the CNET Samsung forum you should try.

Unfortunately the closest Samsung service centre is 8 hrs away so that isn't an option, I was basically told to pick a local tv repair and hope for the best... I would have been very happy if I could get it serviced. I'm in Ontario north of Toronto

Sorry if this upsets you.

Samsung just to the south has in home service for models over 32 inches.

This service might not be Samsung but an agent/company working for Samsung. Is that the deal there? If so, let Samsung pay for the work until it's fixed.
