I read quite a few posts where this happens on OTA or Antenna inputs. ALWAYS call that in and ask if and when a fix is coming out.

Recently, after I think it was November's software update, my television began to turn on / off by itself. It literally just turns on / off sporadically, with no predictability to the behavior. We'll be in the middle of watching a show and it'll quickly go off...and then back on...all on it's own for no reason.
In addition, the remote control sporadically will not control the television. The kicker is, only certain buttons won't function; however, I know that it's not the remote because the television is getting the signal; the light by the camera flashes, leading me to believe it's a television software issue.
Lastly, and this is the first time this has happened, my wife turned off the television yesterday, it cut the signal from the cable box, the screen went black, the sound went off, but didn't turn the television off. I know this because the Samsung logo was still lit up and when I selected menu on the remote, the menu would pop up. Selecting power on the remote control however would not turn off the television...I had to unplug it. The television is also connected to a very expensive surge unit.
I believe these are all software issue, because they didn't begin until after November's update and continue even after the most recent software update. I'd like to make this official report to the Samsung representative that monitors these forums. I paid over $2,000 for this television when it was new 1.5 years ago, and I shouldn't be experiencing these issues with what was the second most expensive model at the time.
Here is the latest software that's installed on the television - Software: T-ECPAKUC-1057.0, BT - G
