Question

samsung un55eh6000fxza versus lg 55ls4600 - which one?

I am about to buy one of these from Best Buy. They are both on sale at the same price. I have VERY limited knowledge and don't know whether I should get Samsung or LG. They have matching specs and prices.

I'd pick by 2 criteria

1. Longer warranty. In this day and age, One year warranty? Are you serious?
2. Which looks better?

And about any Smart TV features. Given what I've seen so far, not worth a dime. OK, I fibbing. I'd pay 10 cents but no more.

Answer
Definitely splitting hairs w/ those two

Honestly? We are splitting hairs here. I would read through their specific threads @ AVS. Maybe there's something I missed. Here's a dedicated thread for the Sammy:

*Look around in the LCD forum for the LG model. I couldn't find any dedicated thread per se.

Also, I normally peruse Amazon user comments just to see what the vibe is in the marketplace. Small sniglets like firmware updates/problems as such sometimes are mentioned that I don't catch elsewhere. YMMV. I just like to see what people will take the time to write about a product to see if it jives w/ my real world experience. It was funny how some of the user comments were almost word for word what my in-laws said about their new Panny HDTV, for example.
