It does not mean it's always the same part or fix. You can read many reports about it at this link:

I just bought a Samsung UN55EH4070FXZA from a previous owner (I don't know how long they owned it). I viewed the TV at the time of purchase and saw no issues, so I agreed to the purchase and took it home, mounted it to the wall, and began enjoying some movies for a week or so. Then all of a sudden, in the middle of watching a movie, the picture on the left suddenly got very dark (almost like the backlighting all of a sudden gave out a bit) and the colors got a little bit distorted on that side. In addition, there are a couple of about 1 inch think horizontal bars where there is no distortion. Very weird. Any ideas what could be causing this issue? I've found a few similar issues searching the web suggesting possible issues with the T-con panel, cable bonding, or even the LCD panel. I would appreciate any input on this one before I go to a service rep.
Thanks!
