Samsung UN55C8000XF Calibration Suggestions

by Rynex85 / January 23, 2012 12:27 AM PST

I just threw this topic up for the sake of organization. Feel free to post about any calibration setting you have FOR THIS SPECIFIC MODEL, and it's purpose here. I will post my Game Mode Calibration here as well. Keep in mind its just to share information on CALIBRATIONS. I'am Not a expert but I have played video games for 23 years that should mean something.

Samsung UN55C8000XF Game Mode Calibration
by Rynex85 / January 23, 2012 12:34 AM PST

Note this setting is formulated with the gamer in mind this is for minimal input lag (the time it takes for your button press to be displayed) and best looking picture. Also using standard HDMI cables. I used Battlefield 3 for my reference; what I got was smooth game play, and great picture. This was done in a DARK room adjust your brightness accordingly. Also In game mode certain options wont be available and NOT mentioned here. I've used some knowledge from other Users such as Katzmaier and Dean10011111 to get a great base picture. Unfortunately it was for non-game mode. In my calibration I will be using this. Also I have tried these settings without game mode on and the lag was horrible. Furthermore Searching on-line I have yet to find a source for this information on my model so this is what inspired me to do this. Enjoy!!

I am so unhappy with Samsung. I bought this TV in early 2011 2 m-3 months after I bought it it had red spider lines on the right half called best buy they said just turn the TV off and it will go away. so I did and it worked I had to do this once every two months for 14 months no big deal until it would not go away. Called Samsung and got a run around bunch of crap. Then they had me download a new firmware and now the tv has a weak or no signal ten minutes after I turn the TV on.... so what does Samsung say "you will have to pay for service" I paid 3800. for a piece of junk.... DO not buy Samsung they are cheats and they know they have a problem

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
