Resolved Question

Samsung UN46D6300 46-Inch

Nov 28, 2011 4:27AM PST

I just put this thing together awesome picture but was wondering after paying
$ 1100 for why do I i have to shell out another $70 for a Samsung WIS09ABGN
LinkStick Wireless USB and other items like $60 for HDMI cables and $12 for
a special RCA dual link cable to analog jack .
I was really surprise that all of this wasn't inside
the box .. Glad you included the remote with this and didn't charge me for
that. So what's the story here are you supposed to keep the customers happy
because if you say it has a wireless capability but not supply the LinkStick
isn't that misleading. That was supposed to be in this box. Its going to cost
me another $142 to make HDTV work right. thank you

After paying that kind of money, Samsung just gave me the impression that they
were like selling a car and you had to buy the all kinds of options separately .
Sorry if I came across cheap i just was really surpize that i had to run around
and get all these extra items to make this Tv work better.
I was reading that The Rosewill RNX-N1 wireless adapter works because
it uses the same chipset, Ralink (RT2870+ RT2820), used in Samsung's LinkStick
Wireless LAN adapter (WIS09ABGN). Is that the one your talking about because
that cost $20 and samsung is $80. thanks for your help

RALink RT2870

I bought a RALink RT2870 and it works great. Paid $24 with free shipping not
$79 that samsung charges on their site. And dish came with free hdmi
cables.
Still its ridiculous that I have to run around finding
this stuff and samsung is so hung up on making every buck they can get and
can't include these items in their sale of expensive TV's.

You don't have to keep apologizing its not your fault
its greedy big corporations that don't care about us little people. What i
really thought might happen was samsung's customer service would hear my problem
and make some adjustments to help me instead of saying sorry your on your own
son. thanks for at least responding.

I wish you would tell the full story.

The Samsung dongle comes with support staff and has been tested to work on their products.

It's been known for decades that if you drop support or reduce the warranty period, things cost less.

Good find, but tell the full story.
