I ran into this at some store long ago. The entire stock there had blown ports (on some laptop.) Turns out not a single box was factory sealed. Our guess is someone had already blown the ports. Just a story to share.
It's new, Costco is legendary good about returns so back it goes.
I bought a Samsung LED (model UN46D6050TF)<span id="INSERTION_MARKER"> at Costco. Had Directv upgrade my cable box to HD. Could never use the HDMI ports (TV didn't recognize the device). Directv tried 3 different receiver boxes, and 3 different HDMI cables. Never worked, we decided that there's a problem with the TV. Took it back to Costco, same problem!!! Tried connecting a new DVD player, and again, the TV is not recognizing any device through HDMI.
Called Samsung customer service, they couldn't help either.
<span>Does anybody know if there's an issue with that model? I find it hard to believe that 2 different tv's have the same problem.
<span>Can it be a Firmware issue?
