Samsung UN46C6300 Picture Settings Constantly Resetting

Dec 19, 2010 3:45PM PST

Hello! I just got the Samsung UN46C6300. I've been tweaking the picture settings only to find that no matter what I choose, when I turn it off and turn it on again, it is reset to the default settings.

Also, at times, when watching a cable, a DVD or something from a laptop via HDMI, the tv will reset to default settings.

Is this a defective TV? Or am I Missing something in the settings? Thanks!

I just wanted to piggy back on you and say I'm experiencing the same thing. I hope someone out there can help us out!

I picked up the answer online...basically the TV is set in store demo mode. You can verify this by hitting the info button on the remote. If you click info and it says demo mode, then you should go into the general settings to disable it.

Basically, it is there for when stores display the TV and dont want to reset the models all the time, after customers use the TV. Why it ships with that as the default, is beyond me.

Good luck!
