If their product has a defect, only they can fix. In the USA that's 1800SAMSUNG. Other places you hit samsung.com for the number.
There is one thing that I did find about images on smart tvs. You must not exceed the pixel count of the TV. So for this UHD 4K display which is 3840 pixels × 2160 lines (8.3 megapixels, aspect ratio 16:9) you need to make sure your images are that or less.
IRFANVIEW can batch convert if necessary. IRFANVIEW is easy to find with google, available on Ninite.com (why Ninite? Read https://www.howtogeek.com/201354/ninite-is-the-only-safe-place-to-get-windows-freeware/ ) and tutorials are plentiful so I'll pause here.
I'm trying to autostart a slideshow of jpeg images off a memory stick in the usb port each morning. Well below the max number of images allowed, and the slideshow plays fine when launched manually. Initially, it would start running through the folder and die 3/4 of the way through. Now it seems like it doesn't start showing images at all. Have it set to start after I come in tomorrow to see which is now the norm. Thanks for any suggestions, I haven't found anything that describes the best image formatting other than make it a jpeg.
