If all the internal cables look ok then you replace the board this HDMI board connects to.
Bob
The other day I was moving my TV from a different room and stupidly didn't remove the HDMI cord and it got snagged on a door knob and ripped out breaking the port it was connected to. The second port was still fully intact but also not working, I was able to get it somewhat working but when the TV got moved too much it stopped. The USB for media was still working. I didn't test component.
So I ordered a replacement main board and got it today and switched it. But the HDMI ports still aren't working. They're both perfectly intact and the board is functional but still nothing. The USB works as does component (but there's no audio). I've tried to factory reset and the unplug for 10 minutes thing. Both to no avail.
Is there anything else I can do? I don't get why a new perfectly fine board still isn't working. Any help would be greatly appreciated since I don't have the money for a new TV. Especially one that should be working.
