Question

Samsung uhd tv and pioneer bluray not happy together

Aug 6, 2016 7:19PM PDT

Got a Samsung 4k uhd un60ju6390f last year and trying to connect a pioneer elite bluray player to it. The player is a few years old but new to me. I finally got around to trying to hook it up. I can play with the video resolution output of the player and it has auto, source, 480i 480p 1080i and 1080p. I only get results with 480i and p. anything else doesn't show anything (except for a quick flash of whatever is playing).

What setting(s) do I need to play with?? Thanks!

About firmware updates. One of the annoying industry issues is HDMI. It was a good idea but you sometimes find things that don't play together.

Are you sure you are using the other ports? HDMI 2.x ports may do this due to "upgrades."
