Question

samsung UE55JU7005 sound problem

Apr 27, 2016 12:53PM PDT

Hey people.

I got an Samsung UE55JU7005 tv and a Philips Fidelio B5 soundbar.

When i use apps on the tv like Netflix and Plex, the sound changes every 30 seconds or so. Its kinda hard to explain but it seems to change the voice output more than anything else. Like it changes from voice to movie or misc. Its insanely irritating, Anyone got an idea what this is?

Thanks for all help

How connected?

Also, try these without a soundbar. I had some old movie that had me thinking my sound had gone bad. It was the title movie and not my rig.

Hi.

Ops, i forgot to mention that.
The soundbar is hdmi4 (ARC tv output). To the hdmi ARC external hdmi box that came with the tv. If that helps.

Tried the movies on both tv without soundbar and my pc. It works fine. Seems to be only be when i connect the soundbar.

Thnaks for answering Happy

If you want to pursue ARC.

Most don't but calls to the makers are not a bad idea. I've seen so many ARC failures that when it works, it's always a surprise. What gets me is that it may fail later. Something is not robust here.
