Question

Samsung UE46H7005 TV won't save channels

Sep 19, 2016 2:11AM PDT

I have a samsung TV and recently after I shut the tv down or when it's on standby, the channels list disappears and it says there is no channel and I have to search for channels every time I turn the TV on.
I believe it has been reset to factory setting too.
Can someone help me with this problem please?

Answer
This sounds like it's still in shop mode.

Samsungs don't save settings until you put in home mode. Should be in the manual.

I forgot to mention I've check if it's in shop mode, but in the settings it's not in shop mode and when I hold the menu button on the back of the TV, or volume up and holding it for 15 seconds, nothing happens.
So it can't be that

Then I have to write it's defective or not updated.

Call Samsung now to have them walk you through the firmware version check and what resets they feel they need to try. If that fails, here on over 32 inch models they service in our home.
