Samsung UE46F8000 language settings

Jan 8, 2015 12:46AM PST

This TV software can't remember audio channel settings!! Usually TV channels transmit 1 or 2 audio languages for every channel, perhaps 3, and that shouldn't occupy more than 2 bits in memory. When it doesn't remember then the TV's scheduled recording doesn't work, and one has to set the audio language every time when shifting a channel. Though the TV manual says that this TV gets smarter the more you use it, but obviously not more smart than those who programmed it.

The TV also has some crap about setting primary and secondary language, that doesn't work, since it still downloads TV shows from internet in the wrong language.

And also when using its menus the television very very often freeze, so it has to be powered off and on.

Thanks for your message! But just so you know, I support US products and customers. And from what I can tell, this model is for United Kingdom. (Correct me if I'm wrong.) So if you want the most accurate information, here's the Samsung UK portal for support on that product: http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/

Hope this helps you!
