Just in case. Be sure to take a lamp or such and see if the power is there at the outlet too.
My Samsung TV stop to work about hour ago. It happened in this way - first the display started to darken and flicker. I pressed the button for changing of the signal source on the remote. But TV switched off and never started again. The red diode is off. Nothing happens when we plug in the power. TV is 3 years old and I never had any problems with it.
