I see phone numbers and email contacts where you can ask what's up with their app.
I have a Samsung UE40D5520 RV smart TV purchased in 2011.....I am happy with the overall performance of the TV but am unhappy with the smart hub side...I assumed that there would be apps added for 5OD and ITV player etc....however although the 5OD app is there it says I need to update my firmware.....I have updated to the latest firmware....103.0 but it still states that I need a firmware update....I have reset the hub to no effect....Please any suggestions would be gratefully received
It's a new world with the TV as a platform. It's a little like but then again not like a laptop with Windows. When an app fails there you usually don't ask the laptop maker or Microsoft.
Here we have a new system where apps are supplied to Samsung to either include in their firmware or be put on some App store.
But this breaks into new territory of who to complain to when an app fails. And it's not clear to consumers what to do or how this will all play out.
