Netflix writes that app so if there are any issues, you need to tell Netflix.
There is some that want to debate that the TV/device maker needs to own the issues but just like a Dell computer you don't find Dell fixing Windows or Office or an app.
-> Be sure to call Samsung now to voice your concern and if both companies don't answer I suggest you use your consumer voting card. (i.e. return products that have defects.)
I am new to this forum and wonder if anyone can help.
I have two Samsung UE26EH4510 and when using the Smart Hub to watch Netflix, any programme made in earlier times reverts back to a 4:3 aspect ratio, rather than playing in widescreen.
This would be ok, except I then have a 6-inch wide band of white flicker on the right hand side of the screen! (instead of a black harmless border)
I also have a 50 inch Samsung TV and the Netflix movies play fine on that, so the problem is only related to the 26" model
As I have two of them I know it is not a problem with a faulty TV
So... is there a way to force a screen resolution on this 26" TV when using Smart Hub?
It ignores my setting on the TV where I select 16:9, and always reverts to 4:3 on Netflix.
Is there any update or setting you can recommend?
Thanks for any help
PS - sorry if this appears twice - I posted and got an error message
