Question

Samsung UA46D6400 3D image stretched

by nircarmona / February 5, 2015 8:24 PM PST

Hello,
The main board was replaced because the 'Network' menu was grayed out.
The Version on the back is : AA01
In the old board when i looked in the service menu the Type was: 46L1UF6E and the firmware was 1017.2
Now the type has changed to 46A1UF6E and the firmware is 1019.1.
All the settings works and the video is fine.
When i am trying to see 3D movies or 2D to 3D the picture is stretched and see only an half picture (like the resolution is changing to VGA)\
Any idea ?????
Thanks

Get these calls all the time. They usually put you through some factory resets if they don't have a ready answer and if those fail they send out the techs. Not all issues can be fixed over the phone. Some, but not all. Why not make that call fast as the sooner you get your issue ticketed the faster it gets fixed.

Bob please don't answer, I understand your suggestion and it doesn't help.
Maybe someone else can help me?
I thought to change the type as before the repair.(To 46L... because the 'L' is for AUO panel, AA01 ) It risky? What could happen?
Thanks

The Samsung Ambassador makes appearances on odd occasions. Since this is not a sure thing I wanted to get you to the usual connections.

Be sure to ask in AVS Forums too.
