Samsung tv with rca sound bar

My father in law has a Samsung tv with a rca sound bar. We hooked the red and white cables up but still not getting no sound bar only thru tv. Is their any settings on the tv I need to change? I tried switching it to external speakers but don’t work plz help thanks

Model number and pictures of inputs from both devices will help a lot and if there is any other solution ( connections option) i will explain u

Very few Samsungs output on RCA connections.

I think you need to check your model TV but 100% of the Samsungs I encounter the RCA jacks are only inputs to the TV where you want outputs.

There is no settings to change that.
