So you find yourself setting the Time Warner DVR to output stereo or PCM (which ever works) so the Samsung can pass it. If not, you call Samsung for more ideas.
Sorry if I shortchange you here but the 5.1 issue is well done.
I have a Samsung HDTV (UN55C8000) and a HT‑CT780 Soundbar. Recently I lost my sound after changing out a Time Warner DVR. I have changed out the HDMI cables and that didn't help. What could have happen and how would I go about fixing it. Both TV and Soundbar are plugged into ARC ports. Any help would be appreciated.
