Question

Samsung TV ue46d6100sk Horizontal lines and flashing image

Apr 30, 2015 3:32AM PDT

Hi Everyone
I have a Samsung smart tv 46" ue46d6100sk.
The TV works fine when you turn it on, but about 10 minutes later, the screen starts to flash and many horizontal lines appear.
The bottom part of the screen about an inch wide the image is good.
The issue is in all inputs apart from hdmi.

What could this possibly be? And what would it be the repairing cost?

Thanks

Answer
CALL THIS IN.

This sounds similar to an issue the LN46C630 had and Samsung would send a tech out to do something. I am NOT writing it's that. But you must call to find out.

The bad news is that the inch wide tells me it's some other failure such as LCD, drivers or other. These are not user serviceable so get a repair estimate.

Ghosting image

Thank you for the reply.
Now another problem has appeared, there is a ghosting image in all inputs, so I reckon It'll be cheaper to get a new TV than get this one repaired.
