Stop giving Samsung time and calls. You want a working set. Time to ask them to exchange for another model. Or get a refund from maker or seller as it's been defective since day zero.
Samsung TV. Model: UN65MU 7000 -New for X-Mas!
Since day one, our TV Turns on by itself, all day long, all night! We make sure the volume is totally off automatically!
For months, Samsung customer service have not fixed the issue. I'm told to unplug the cable box for a day. Next, unplug the X-Box and Sound Bar... Re-set this and that! Then I'm told it's the cable box, and the cable company tells me there's no way it's their equipment!!! They see it's working fine at their end!
It's not the remote controls, as I've changed the batteries and all others have no batteries.
It's not our WiFi , is fast and TV responds quickly to all commands.
We've tried turning off the All Net option, but then our sound bar does not work! And you can't mess with a man and his sound bar!!!
Samsung even told me to manually shut off TV , this should do it they said! Still turns on by itself!!!
Usually with a screen that says: "No Power Source Found" or the channel that was previously selected.
A Tech even tried to remotely check out TV but was kicked off of session almost immediately. What does that mean?
Samsung also mentioned the Sound Bar connected through HGMI Switch CC, and something about streaming... which I don't have a clue as to what this is?
The kicker is, with each new Samsung tech I get on the phone, their notations of the last previous service call, is that problem was resolved! What a crock.
Please help, we are at our wits end, very frustrating! And please remember, we are not tech savvy people... plain English please! Thank you so much!!!!!!! ![]()
