Firmware
Dec 18, 2008 12:28PM PST

Skeetsgb,

Sorry about that, I was mistaken as the television has the latest firmware available.

I'm not sure why the PS3 isn't connecting properly. Unfortunately, I don't have service information for that particular model, but I would suggest maybe troubleshooting with a Samsung technician in the UK. The consumer helpline is 0845-SAMSUNG.

Keep me posted.

Try resetting the PS3

Did you try resetting the PS3's video settings? (When turning on the PS3, use the power button on the console and hold it down until the console beeps a few times.)

agrees

I agree with this. I used to move my PS3 from work to home all the time. I had it connected using hdmi at home and componets at work. the PS3 doesn't like switching back and forth. Just reset the video settings on the PS3 and its good. If both are hdmi or componets then I don't know.
