Sorry but I can't begin to guess what you have.
In spite of that, most of what we know about the setup is at the next link.
I have a Samsung LE37C580 tv which should be internet ready. I can connect the tv to my pc using Comtrend LAN links, but I have no internet connection. I also note that the controller does not have the internet@ button like later smart tv's. Is that a problem? Which button should I use to connect to the internet? The pc photo and sound files are directly accessible using the on-screen display. Samsung help line suggests that the Virgin/Netgear hub might have incompatible IP codes. Or there might be a problem with the Comtrend link (which I doubt-as why would the pc work ok?), Advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Many thanks for helpful response. I will bone up on all the guidance. I will also physically move the tv (a bit awkward, that's why I haven't already tried that) so I can plug it in directly to the hub LAN, and bypass the Comtrend links. I have a feeling it still won't work, but we will see. I am disturbed by the fact that the controller doesn't have the internet@ button, so I am not sure what I should do to connect. The pc link comes up automatically on the tv as a DLNA(pc) indication. Samsung say it should work! Thanks again, appreciated.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
