Samsung and repair shops do repair such things but not always for free. There are hundreds of prior posts about cracked screens on many makes so my reply here is about you may need to clarify you want it covered. To that I think all the prior discussions cover that well enough.
A few days ago there was power outage in my area and the TV went out. When the power came back on and the TV was turned on there were vertical lines on the screen. Apparently the screen was cracked from the inside. The TV is 2 months old and is on the stand, no one touches it. I have been in touch with Samsung customer service and they are of no help and are saying the warranty won't cover it. They just keep asking for pictures and giving me service appointments. The last time someone came he took a picture and based on that picture Samsung said the warranty will not cover it because its physical damage, then they said they'll send someone to come again and assess the cause but the repair shop just called and said it's physical damage and he knows Samsung won't cover it and he's cancelled the ticket. Is there anything I can do so that Samsung can repair the tv. pls help :\
