Question

Samsung tv anynet+ and LG blue ray issues

Dec 7, 2012 5:22AM PST

Here is what I have:

Samsung 46" series 5 TV with anynet+
LG BH6820SW
Logitech universal remote

When I plug the hmdi from the LG home theater to the TV the anynet icon shows. An anynet connection is attempted and always fails. The tv then does not recognize the LG device until I unplug it then replug it back in.

I don"t need to control the LG through the TV, I just want to be able to watch Blue ray movies through an hdmi cable rather than the av output.

Does anyone know what to do?

I'm very sorry to hear that has happened, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. In order for me to help you most accurately, please provide the complete model code for this device.

Hi whitepatch,

OK, here's how to turn off Anynet+ on the TV: Menu > Application > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC). Let me know if you need any more help.

When I disable the Anynet+ function in the TV; the TV no longer recognizes that anything is plugged into the HDMI port.

Hi whitepatch,

Now that is extremely unusual. Have you tired multiple all the HDMI ports?
