Samsung tab 4

Sep 6, 2015 11:34PM PDT

In January i bought a new Samsung tab 4 for my daughter, because she need it for her school work. Since then i have to take it in a second time for repair. The first time it had stripes all over the screen. I took it in, they repair it. She was 3 weeks without her school work. When she got it back, she had to install all her books all over again. Now the screen is just black, you can hear sounds, but you can see nothing. I have to take it in again for repair. This is no in the time that they are writing tests for the end of the term and she is going to be without her school work again. Samsung is one of the more expensive tablets and i am not happy at all.

sounds like you got a lemon

Unless there is something your daughter is not telling you, you must have gotten a lemon. Unfortunately it happens with any brand and model. It may be time to consider keeping backups on another device or on the cloud in case the unfortunate happens again.

Back to Samsung.

However I worry about how rough folk treat such things. The makers have to balance durability against the consumers that want thin and light.

That Amazon 6 looks to be a better fit for kids. Also, once you get it fixed, time for an OtterBox.

The devices needs repair or back to factory

I cannot tell what the problem really is according to your description, but the best solution to this is to send this device back to facory because the problem is probably the hardware.
