Question

Samsung Tab 4 stuck in boot loop, hard reset does nothing.

Jul 20, 2015 5:22AM PDT

My tab 4 had crashed one day while I was using it, and it restarted itself. Since then, it was stuck in a boot loop (the samsung logo screen), and hard reset in ODIN mode did nothing. It just goes back to a boot loop upon restarting. Apart from sending for a replacement, is there anything I could possibly do to salvage it?

Problem solved

Hey, thanks for replying. I solved the issue by getting into recovery mode then wiping all data,. The problem was that there was no more memory left, probably because there was a big update or malware that ate up all my free space. Anyway, ODIN is also for recovery to custom your device's operating system, but as you said, I am now wary because they may have malware. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to reply!
