Question

Samsung t.v and Scientific Atlanta Remote control mix-up....

I'm subletting a house in the city and when we arrived the landlady explained not to mix up the 2 remote controls.. Use the black one (samsung) to turn on the t.v. then the grey one (time warner) for the channels.. Anyway after the jet lag set in of course I mixed them up! Now the t.v. wont work. Usually at home I would push the source button and pick a certain frequency or something but she never explained any of this to us so any one I choose just says 'weak or no signal'. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm sure its simple, I just don't have a clue what I'm doing!

Answer
Try changing the channel

I've no idea what channel it would be but a lot of times boxes are set to come in on a certain single tv channel(often 3 or 4). Once there, put the Samsung remote to the side and change cable channels with the box remote.
