Samsung ST1000/CL65 SDK?

by fattmox / March 5, 2010 1:57 AM PST

I recently purchased a Samsung ST1000 (aka CL65). It has everything. GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, Accelerometer and Touchscreen.

I think this camera would benefit greatly from the developer community. Does anyone have any information on if Samsung will be releasing an SDK? There are so many web services out there that have great APIs you could hook in to thereby leveraging all the bells and whistles. The camera software on the camera is excellent and the touch screen makes for a great user experience but the apps surrounding camera functions are quite rough around the edges and basic.

The first thing I would like to see is the ability to send a note with the pictures you email.

Second I would like to see GPS accuracy or status. A lot of ST1000 owners complain that the GPS does not work as it can be difficult to get a fix in urban areas or under thick canopies. A simple satellites page would be nice to have.
Also as a GPS gets a fix the accuracy increases as it picks up signals from more satellites. My Garmin GPS has a great field on the satellite page when I have a fix that tells accuracy to the meter. EG

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
