Samsung SPH-A460 - Screen Disappears

Oct 11, 2004 12:36AM PDT

Hello folks,

Just this past Saturday I received a call in the morning...about 30 minutes later..I reach for my phone to make an outgoing call and I noticed the screen , yet illuminated, was blank which is weird. I've had the phone for about a year with no problems....never dropped it...and its still in good condition.

Can anyone explain the issue? I plan to take it to a Sprint Store doe a diagnostic test...but is this a common issue with this phone?

Thanks,
Jay

My Samsung A460 developed the same problem just today. I also did not drop it or anything. Worked fine yesterday. Charged it up last night... went to answer a call this morning and the screen was blank but illuminated.

I used my old A460 yesterday (19th) and it worked fine.
You can try turning the phone off and on to see it the problem clears.
Or remove the battery for 1 minute and then try it again.

I bought the new A680 with camcorder
