Samsung SP R4232 color problem and buzzing sound

We recently purchased a home which included this plasma tv. Despite several adjustments to the menu color control, there is no red is the picture. However, there is red in the menu.
Also, everytime there is a banner across the bottom of the screen like in news reports, there is a buzzing noise.
Cable was installed this week and we have the tv running through a DVR machine. Could this be our problem?

Well, it could be the cable itself, or the way it is hooked up. Have you tried different inputs to test if other inputs result in showing red in the picture?
