See if the bar has any firmware update. Try that, resets and see if it comes back.
Hello - I have a Samsung HW-H551 soundbar which has previously connected to my Samsung TV wirelessly through TV Soundconnect with no issues. It was a simple plug and play with the TV prompting that it had spotted the soundbar and they were paired almost immediately.
As of Sunday the soundbar is not connecting to anything wirelessly. On TV mode the soundbar screen displays TV > TV SOUNDCONNECT > TV WAIT. The wait message then scrolls along the screen on a continuous loop. Previously after TV SOUNDCONNECT it would display TV READY and the TV would pair automatically (post first pairing).
I have also tried bluetooth to my iPhone which also has had no issues to date. The same issue occurs, when you go to bluetooth mode the screen displays BT > WAIT. Wait then stays on the screen and eventually the soundbar switches to standby. Previously it would say BT > WAIT > BT READY and then pairing was possible. Wait would only show for a second (or less).
I have spent a long time on the phone to Samsung directly and have got nowhere further. I've reset the soundbar and TV, updated the software to the latest version etc. Definitely seems to be a soundbar issue as it's both TV Soundconnect and bluetooth failing.
Has anyone else had a similar issue, or any ideas of how to fix it?
