Question

Samsung Soundbar and Subwoofer Connection Problems

by tony1040 / August 21, 2014 7:40 PM PDT

Hi
I have a Samsung Soundbar HW-F551 and a Samsung wireless Subwoofer PS-WE551, ive been trying to connect the two together without success, the more I read into it the more I think these two units are not compatible, is there any way round this or can I run them independently with wires, any help would be great, Cheers, Tony.

Since the PS-WE551 did not ship with the F551, it won't be compatible, even though it's also a Samsung. You really need the sub that came w/ the F551. I could be totally wrong, but that's usually how it works with the proprietary systems like this.

Ask in the Samsung sub-forum too.

Hi
Thanks for the reply, I was aware that this may be the case and was looking for a way round the problem, the sub dosnt need to run wirelessly from the main unit due to its position but as I have both units it would be nice if I could link them some how using cables.
Cheers,
Tony.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
